would have to run 26 times in 13 weeks to match the guaranteed minimum
the advertisers want to pay. But if an ad ran once a day for 13 weeks
(91 days), actors would get less than half the money they currently
earn with the advertisers' proposal. If an ad ran twice a day (182
times) actors would lose over $7,600 from the Union's proposal. |

Unions
want actors to make more, the more their commercials run on cable.
Under the union proposal, an ad would have to run 45 times in 13
weeks to earn the guaranteed rate proposed by the advertisers. But
advertisers keep saying that the unions want a 350% raise in cable
rates. That means they currently run ads 160 times in 13 weeks.
