It’s always lovely to report the arrival of beautiful babies. This month we have TWO. Welcome to the world Carly Eva Schneider, daughter of Amy and James and little sister to Matthew. She was born Monday, May 9 and weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Everyone is well and happy. And late in the day on May 7, Audra Budrys and husband Kestutis Nakas welcomes the arrival of Kajus Antanas Nakus. The big guy (whose name is pronounced like the Latin caius) weighed a walloping 9 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21 inches long. He and his delighted parents are all well and involved in sleep negotiations. Sadder news involves the health of beautiful Chicago and Indiana actress Jan Lucas, who is fighting Leukemia.
